Gabriella is an admitted Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from The University of New South Wales. During her time at university, Gabriella gained a broad knowledge of the law, having studied Chinese Law in Beijing and Human Rights Law at Columbia University in New York.
Gabriella has worked in family law since 2010 in the Family Law Team of a prominent Greater Western Sydney law firm and then as a Legal Associate to the honourable Justice Watts of the Family Court of Australia. Gabriella’s role as a Legal Associate encouraged her to develop a deeper understanding of complex family law issues. Gabriella now works across the broad range of Family Law matters, including property settlement, parenting, child support, spouse maintenance, and Binding Financial Agreements.
Gabriella is compassionate and sensitive and is committed to achieving the best outcome for her clients at all times. Gabriella provides legal advice, care and guidance to clients experiencing relationship breakdown. She is highly responsive to the thoughts and feelings of clients, allowing her to be attuned to the needs of her clients now and into the future.
Gabriella frequently travels interstate to appear at the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and Family Court of Australia in complex family law disputes.
Gabriella is also skilled in negotiation and alternate dispute resolution. Gabriella recognises the value of the collaborative process where appropriate.
In 2018, Gabriella has been shortlisted as a finalist to win an award in the Family Law category at the 2018 30 Under 30 Awards, hosted by Lawyers Weekly in partnership with Taylor Root. Now in its sixth year, the 30 Under 30 Awards program recognises young lawyers striving for professional excellence within their specific practice area.
